ABOUT US

It all started in a small village called Dieulefit, in the heart of Provence, surrounded by lavender fields. Eric, our founder, was already living in Canada for five years when he decided to share his blissful childhood memories of the beauty and quality of French lavender with Vancouver.

In 2014, he came back from France with one box of lavender and sold fifty bouquets in just a couple of hours. He then started Provence en Couleur, as a part time job, by selling lavender bouquets in a booth on the corner of Granville and W Pender St, in downtown Vancouver. A few years later, after being approached by various flower shops and home decor stores to sell his lavender, he made his way up to running the business full-time.

Finally, 2021 was a huge turning point in the company’s growth. The range of products has become more diversified and unique all while remaining true to its origins as the lavender essential oils are still imported from France! It is important for the company to contribute to developing the local economy as much as possible, all of our products are designed in Vancouver, with 90% of them being assembled by hand, bottled and packaged in Canada.
